1. What portless is

portless.xyz is a non-custodial software interface. It lets you swap digital assets across networks and trade derivatives and spot markets from your own wallet. portless never holds your funds, never has access to your private keys and cannot move assets on your behalf. All transactions are signed locally in your wallet or by session keys that exist only on your device.

2. Third-party execution venues

Orders you place through the trading terminal are transmitted directly from your browser to independent third-party execution venues and settle on their infrastructure. portless is an interface to those venues, not an exchange, broker, dealer, custodian or counterparty. Execution quality, market availability, funding rates, fees, margin rules, liquidations and withdrawals are governed by the rules of the venue that executes your order. Venue identities are abstracted in the interface; order flow in your browser's network activity reflects the venue serving your region and market.

3. Swaps

Cross-chain swaps are fulfilled by independent liquidity providers through a partner routing API. Quoted amounts are estimates; the delivered amount can differ with market movement. If a swap cannot complete, funds are returned to the refund address you provide. Always verify the refund and receiving addresses before sending.

4. Eligibility and restricted jurisdictions

Derivatives products are not offered in jurisdictions where such products are restricted, including where blocked by the execution venues themselves. Venues apply their own geographic controls at the network level. By using portless you represent that your use is lawful where you live and that you are not a resident of, or accessing the service from, a restricted jurisdiction, and that you are not on any sanctions list. You are responsible for your own tax and reporting obligations.

5. Risk disclosure

Trading digital assets and derivatives involves substantial risk of loss. Leveraged positions can be liquidated; you can lose more than your initial margin on some products and your entire balance on others. Prices are volatile and markets operate 24/7. Smart contracts, bridges and venues carry technical and counterparty risk. Nothing on portless is investment, legal or tax advice. Do not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.

6. Fees

Venue trading fees apply per the venue's published schedule. portless may earn a routing or platform fee on some products; where an extra platform fee applies it is disclosed in the interface before you enable trading. Swap quotes always include all routing fees in the displayed estimate.

7. No warranty, limitation of liability

The interface is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, portless and its operators are not liable for losses arising from venue outages, network congestion, smart contract failures, price movements, liquidations, failed or delayed swaps, or your own errors in addresses and amounts.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
